Annie Zhang, Ph.D.

Dr. Zhang brings more than a decade of experience in pharmaceutical drug product development, with extensive expertise in formulation development, process optimization, and regulatory submissions. During her tenure at OPL, she has successfully supported the filing of 15 IND and ANDA applications with the U.S. FDA and China NMPA, contributing to the advancement of multiple development programs.

An active researcher and published scientist, Dr. Zhang has authored more than ten papers in internationally recognized SCI‑indexed journals, including six as first author or corresponding author. Four of her publications have been featured in CAS Q1 journals, highlighting her strong scientific and technical leadership.

Dr. Zhang received her B.S. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
